I couldn't say I started off 2009 with too much ambition. But I hope to turn it around with the Chinese New Year - 2009. The year of the Ox.
Aislinn's Chinese school's celebration was in full swing. Lion dance and songs to celebrate. And my favorite, "nin go". YUM!
I was going through the pictures for a flyer and came across this picture. Just the priceless expression of "oops sorry". I had to post this one up.
Dawson and Alyssa are friends of Aislinn and Declan from daycare. And they are the most well behaved kids I've ever met. This photo shoot was easy because I almost feel like I was working with grown up kids. Of course, Dawson is still a little young, but I get to get all those fun faces he makes and that part I enjoy the most.
I think we all remembered how we get embarrassed by our parents when we were kids. But we never think our kids ever embarrassed us because they are so bright and fun and adorable. They are the reflection of us and we are just so proud. However, I think this happens more often than we think :P

Fall is probably my favorite season, with all the different color leaves on the trees and the crunching sound they make as you stepped on them on the ground. It somehow give me this magical feeling of all the wonderful living things around us.
I've known the Ly's forever. And I was very honored to take their family pictures. Tyler just turned two, so it was time to capture that moment. And of course it's the holiday season, we have to sneak in a few family shoots for the Christmas cards. And this is my first time shooting a dog with the family. Connor was a real trooper and was very well behaved.
I did say they are my die hard fans right? If I just have 200 more Marierios, I can probably say goodbye to my day job. By this time, taking their pictures are a piece of cake. I might have to take this to the next level ... Boudoir! Monica, are you game?
