Another graphic art project

Oops, sorry I've been out for a little while from blogging. My husband was in San Diego for a week which made it hard for me to work on my side projects. Now, I'm kind of back logged and need to catch up. Not sure if this weekend is enough time while my schedule looks pretty full. YIKES!! Happy to be busy but yet, so overwhelming.
Here's one of the latest projects I've been working on. Again, I'm not a pro at this but pretty happy with the results :)

Pettiskirt Fun

Seems like this style of skirt is very popular nowadays. I too wish I am a little girl and be able to twirl in a flowing, fluffy skirt. The feeling of wind picking up every ruffle of the skirt as if I were a ballerina dancer. My son would not miss the excitement and put on the baby skirt. I was laughing so hard as he wiggle his tush in front of me. I guess this will be good black mailing pictures when he becomes a teenager.

Sister Act

Ashley and Amber are such sweet girls. They were my kids swim teachers and happened to notice the pictures I took of the kids and started asking about what I do. They booked this session as a surprise gift for their parents since they are both leaving for college soon. On the morning of the shoot, they were "babysitting", and we had a blast. Well, I know I did. These girls are naturals when it comes to standing and posing which made my job way easy.

Master Oogway

Every great student has a great master behind them. Not that I’m saying I’m great. I’m just saying how fortunate I am to have my own master Oogaway.

Augie is truly master of his art; a fantastic photographer with his contemporary modern photojournalistic style.

He has generously taken me under his wing and shown me the ropes. (Not just me, but he is very kind to all his students and never holds back with his knowledge.) I do sometimes wish there’s a spoon where he just feed me all the info. The easy way out, LOL! But he is one who believes in hard work. A self taught achiever, ‘you must be able to learn on your own or else you won’t be successful in the long run.’ A wise wisdom, I will forever take with me.

This picture was taken by my sister Alice.

Kyle

I love watching kids play. I love the little expression of excitement and confusion they give when they are concentrated on what they are doing.

Here’s Kyle being busy with the beach toys and striding in style with his “MOM Rules” t-shirt.

Baby Lam

Baby Lam has been in the world for only three weeks and he's quite a good model. I was very excited to see what I captured so I turned this session around with post processing within a day. That's really record breaking for me because my personal and work life are jammed packed. But I was so inspired that I had to get it done. I stayed up to almost 2 in the morning because I was so motivated. ;-)

Unfortunately, the slide show quality is really low, here are the pictures.

A Trieu Athlete

At the age of 2, Damon already got his moves of a true athlete. Reason? Maybe because his daddy is a sports fanatic and been playing various sports his whole life. Having said that, this kid can swim 10 feet with his head under water and is constantly shootin' hoops at home.

Here he is at the 20 yard line waiting for the snap. I think he is a natural in football as well.

Cooling off at Lake Camanche, Ione

Every year, I gather my close friends for a fun filled family camping trip. This year, we decided to have some fun in the water at Lake Camanche.

The past two years we've been going to Big Sur, but this year we decided to change it up. Big Sur’s river water is really cold, but at Lake Camanche, it was nice and warm. The kids had a blast in the huge floating device that David brought. We were sad that the weekend went by so fast. I guess the old adage "Time flies when you're having fun" is true.

So you guys ready for next year’s trip? Thanks for joining me again this year.
