The big 5

Can't believe it's been 5 years since I have Aislinn. Where did all the time go? I still remember after I gave birth to her, I felt like I have run a marathon. I also remember I was so beat that I asked the nurse if I can come back and do it tomorrow.

This birthday, we decide to try something different beside just a bounce house experience. Rock Climbing!! I’m scare of this type of high that’s for sure, but the kids seem to love it. Maybe they don’t know to be scared:-P

Next milestone… kindergarten. I’m so sad but yet so excited for her.

Supernews RIP

Maybe just another excuse to get tossed. Err.. I really don't have much to say but that I tag along with my husband to hang out with his ex-coworkers and drink sake like there's no tomorrow. Wait... I didn't get tossed, bummer. I had to drive the stickshift home... But I did wonder as I was driving who made "Midori" sour that night.

I have to say, the owner of Midori, Geoff is the most funniest guy. I think he will do well in standup comedy.

This is the fertility sake according to Geoff's story... I wonder who got lucky that night...

Alan, the one in the front here, sold his soul to the devil, because he looks the same as last I saw him maybe 6 years ago.

Ei-Nyung rocking that red in her hair.

Imagination

I live through my kids a lot. Many times I wish I can be their age and do the many things they do. For instance, face painting. I would love to go to a birthday party and ask them to paint my face. Then be able to stand proud as if it was one of the normal things that we all do.

How cool are these? The other cheek does the most wonderful face painting for parties.

Happy Birthday

Those who know me know I have been HOOKED on Harry Potter audio books due to my many trips to LA. I like to think of myself as normal and not like the Star Wars fans who dress up in characters or build R2D2 (Sorry guys, I love you, but I like to think I’m not at that level :P). However, my husband thinks I’m on the verge of crossing that line. For my birthday, he got me a Harry Potter theme cake.

I like to believe that it was a joke... BTW, I wish he got me a lens, a tripod or a firebolt.

BEES!

Over the weekend, we went to Botanical Gardens in San Francisco. It was beautiful and there were a ton of little trails to get lost in. Unfortunately, my son still wants me to carry him and my allergy was acting up. A-chew!

The kids were amazed when they find this pile of moving insects (look below), bees… It was an amazing site, but I would like to stay far away from it. Good thing for telephoto lens :-)

Look how they have grown

I want to start this blog with a funny series. I think Bridget is going to kill me. I was laughing hard when I saw what I have captured, and I have to share. All of us with more than one child can understand where the fun can lead to a not so fun ending.

Aside from the little moment we had. It was a wonderful shoot. I loved every minute of it. Mary and Friedie are more of a joy to work with now that they are older. And working with Bridget is such a laugh. To add to the experience, I brought along this really annoying toy that sings with a Chinese accent saying “Fishy, Fishy, where ahhhh you…Can you tell me where you aahhhh”

Shoe fetish

I love shoes. And I especially LOVE kid shoes. I am getting sad because my children are slowly growing out of those loveable shoes by PediPed and SeeKaiRun. I used to be able to dust them off and put them back in the box and treasure them for years to come, but now, they run, jump, climb everywhere, by the end of the season, the shoes are so beat up that those once really cute shoes no longer look so cute anymore.

So I decided to capture them before they get ‘toe up from the floor up’.
