Peek-A-Boo

Normally, I don't like the kids playing with the door. As Declan closed the door on me, I saw and heard one of his happiest laughter. He was having the time of his life while here I am afraid he will pinch his finger(s). I quickly thought to myself, I have to capture this because I want to remember it.

Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, please shine down on me

Hello sunshine! Although, as much as love the rain, I have missed the sun. In October, we had a 5.1KW solar panel system installed to help reduce C02 and eliminate our electric bill at the same time.

Below are some pictures of the system and my meter going backwards! Maybe it will inspire some of you to go Green :-)

Blue Mater

Potty training is probably one of the hardest things parents have to go through. After 4 months of changing many extra underpants and always taking extra pants on the road, today I am proud mom! Finally Declan is trained and on his own going to the potty by himself. Thank you for theme underwear (Shrek, Cars, Elmo), and the Elmo potty. If it wasn’t for that ingenious marketing, potty training wouldn't be as fun.

Collage

I was so happy to learn that Bridget, the mom of Mary and Friedie, was so pleased with all the images, she couldn't decide which picture she should pick for a print. Bridget had the great idea doing a collage instead. So below is what I put together. After seeing the finished design, I was thinking, 'Hey, I think I'm missing one of these around my house' :P

Did someone say food?

Not many people can say they’ve been to a live taping of a show. A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to tag along with a bay area commercial photographer, Michael Soo. He was involved in the show to shoot the tasty creations. I was impressed by the video camera equipment and lighting gear they set up. When they pan across the set, I felt like I was watching Ellen or some talk show. Wow! This experience really got me interested in cinematography.

Breaux

Krista and I go way back. I remember those crazy parties we were at during the pre-kids days. Now, it's a different story, and it's all good. Krista is looking for a picture for her baby announcement. I am so honored. Now a picture of mine will be on an announcement for her family and friends.

The weather was crazy that day. One moment we are getting great lighting inside the house, and the next, it was pretty dim. But that didn't damper the kids’ mood. They were running wild like their usual selves and take a break for some milk and cookies.

Brooks is a fan of shoes. I like him already ;-) Plus with that fun personality, who won't.

This is a picture I attempted to do after seeing a couple of them on the web. It was harder than I thought. Not easy to get the kids participate.
